Project MUM reclaims underutilized public spaces to create free, outdoor events for the public. MUM events connect local businesses, residents, and artists together to celebrate art and community.
The flagship event is an annual space-themed party celebrating the return of the crew of Interstellar Starship MUM. The event traditionally exhibits DJs, VJs, fire performers, and interactive artists to a crowd 500+ in Somerville, MA.
As Executive Producer, I work with municipal officials and vendors to secure permits, venue, and infrastructure for the event each year. I lead a team of producers in identifying and booking performers, artists, and A/V providers for the event each year. I also oversee our overall marketing and promotion strategy.
